| New Elections for LHRA officers!
Its a new year, and we are ready to start the election process for new LHRA officers. Based on our current position, the elections were postponed till April 2012 because of the LHRA's formation as a Corporation late 2011. That and the closing of the old TSG corporation, made elections impossible for December 2011.
To the General membership: We will be emailing ballots in the next two months for you to vote with. Then, in April of 2012 at the National Battle, we will anounce the new leadership. As set forth, the leadership we have currently is on an Interm basis.
Candidates: The LHRA is now looking for its members to submit a request for a position in the LHRA. A form will be sent to all current members that have included their email address on the membership application. IF you are not a current member, you cannot vote or run for a position till membership is renewed. If you read this post and do NOT get a form in the next few weeks, we will post a form on the forum for you to send in. Exepct this form in the next two weeks.
Each candidate will be able to write a small description about themselves and any thing they wish to add. Remember, the membership will be looking as to why you should be elected to the position! Current by-laws require two year membership for any position, but based on the LHRA's Corporation listing in late 2011, this requirement will cannot and will not need to be met. All other rules and requirements are listed in the By-Laws, please read them before applying.
After submissions are sent in, the membership will be given one month to vote on-line, ballots will be emailed out. Results will be announced at the national battle in April.

Battle for Normandy 1944
The LHRA invites you to our Western Front Tactical Battle to be held at Camp Atterbury, IN.,
April 13-15, 2012.
Our goal is to provide an authentic WWII Battle reenactment event with the scenarios being played out in a European-like maneuver area. This is an opportunity to test your abilities against your opponents’ using field skills and maneuvering. This event will be a 46 hr., Tactical Battle . Participants will not be required to participate in the total immersion if they choose not to. You will be expected to carry into the field all the gear, ammo and rations/water you need for the entire scenario. There will be NO organized break for lunch during the battles. Each unit will be assigned objectives and will be required to work with fellow units to attain them. This will be a fluid tactical event with orders subject to change dependent upon your actions and those of the enemy. Our number one goal is for everyone to enjoy themselves.
